In the front office of her historic Fort Worth church, Annie sits at a worn oak desk. As the church secretary, her typical day involves balancing the pastor’s hectic calendar and managing the Sunday potluck sign-up sheets. But today, she’s facing a much heavier task: the annual insurance renewal.

For the third year in a row, the premium has surged. Annie isn't an insurance expert, but she is the gatekeeper of the budget. She knows the math all too well. The extra cost for the insurance premium means that the church will need to rearrange their dollars and cancel a youth trip planned for this summer.

She questions whether or not the church needs all of the insurance coverage that they have. Dropping certain coverages would save the church money, but would it be wise?

Annie is not alone. We hear similar questions from church leaders all over Texas. In this week’s podcast episodes, Ron is taking you through the answers to some of the most burning questions we hear from our Texas church leaders.
