The non-renewal notice was behind them, the paperwork was signed, and coverage was supposedly in place. Then the inspection report arrived. An outdated electrical panel. Deferred roof repairs. Safety items no one had flagged in years past. Suddenly, the policy they thought would protect them was at risk of being pulled before it even took effect. Jim’s situation isn’t rare anymore.
