What Is Personal Liability Insurance for Your Grapevine Home?

Some of the situations your Grapevine homeowners insurance protects you from are predictable. It's going to hail in Texas. Then there are those things you just don't think about happening until they happen and leave you wondering, how am I covered for this? Is there a catch-all category for my insurance.

The personal liability portion of your policy says a resounding "Yes"!

There's no question we live in a litigious society. Lawsuits abound everywhere over major negligence and minor infractions.

Did you ever think you could be sued for your shopping cart rolling into another vehicle, wrecking a rented golf cart or having a guest at your child's birthday party slip and fall?

Personal liability makes certain you have coverage in case things go sideways on and sometimes off your property.

You may be the most stand up person you know, but lawyers are going to lawyer and a lawsuit could easily be dropped in your lap if someone trips on your property and doesn't assume the responsibility. This can cause you a nightmare if you don't have coverage in place to protect against legal action.

The crazy thing is, the difference between having proper coverage, say $500,000 to help you cover legal costs and having a lesser amount, say $100,000 to $300,000 amounts to dollars per year!

That's a cup of overpriced coffee!

If your agent hasn't made you aware of that, it's not only crazy, it's lazy.

Insurance For Texans isn't one of these large insurance companies treating you like a number. We are real people solving real problems by trying to keep real risk covered for people like you.
